
Heidi Watney (born May 19, 1981) is an American sportscaster, who is reporter for Apple TV+.A student at the University of San Diego, her previous experience in sportscasting includes work at MLB Network, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations in Fresno.Watney was a student at Clovis West High School in Fresno which included hurdles, diving, gymnastics and cheerleading. One of her achievements was being an National Merit Scholar, and she attended the University of San Diego as an academic scholarship. In 2003 she graduated with top distinction. Watney was the very first runner-up for Miss California USA 2002. Watney began her career with KMPH-TV in Fresno in September 2003. Watney started her career as the morning traffic reporter before moving to weekend anchor in 2005 and becoming a reporter for the weekdays. [3]Watney relocated to Massachusetts in 2008, and started working for New England Sports Network. She was a Boston Red Sox gameday reporter. Watney was also the host of the Ultimate Red Sox Show, Red Sox Report and Red Sox Report. In January 2012, Watney began working for Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles as a reporter for the LA Galaxy. Then, she was sacked by MLB Network in November 2012 and remained there for nine years. [5] She was host of Quick Pitch. She joined Apple TV+ 2022. 6.
