Kelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born the 24th of April, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas. Clarkson is an American TV personality and singer-songwriter. She was a contestant in 2002 when she was the winner of the American Idol talent competition. Clarkson was born at Burleson (Texas) which is which is a suburb located in the vicinity of Fort Worth. Her vocal abilities were noticed when she was seven years of age by the teacher who taught choir at her school. Following graduation, Clarkson made the move towards Los Angeles, where she attempted unsuccessfully to get into show business. She was picked to compete in the Fox Broadcasting Company's American Idol singing competition, which allowed viewers the opportunity to cast their vote on their favourite singer. People were impressed by Clarkson's arresting voice, charisma, and humor. Clarkson's prize was one million dollars and she signed a recording contract with RCA.
