Annie Murphy

Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on the 19th of December, 1986. Her nationality is Canadian but she is based in Hollywood. Her most notable role is Alexis Rose, a CBC TV sitcom called Schitt's Creek. It premiered in 2015 and ended at the end of 2020. Her character was praised by critics and received the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born in Ottawa Ontario Canada. Both of her parents taught. Elmwood School was her first option to attend in Ottawa which was where she performed in various stage productions. Then she attended Concordia University where she earned a degree for theatre. After that, she took classes at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory in which she studied the art of acting. After moving to Los Angeles, she began acting professionally at age 22. In 2007 Annie Murphy started off her acting career and made her debut through the TV drama Lethal Obsession. The actress continued to act as a small, and even extra parts in a variety of movies. Certain of these films have been very popular, for instance Story of Jen in 2008 Lick released in 2010, or the other big success A Windigo Tale. In addition, she has participated in Canadian television shows, including Good God which was broadcast in 2012 Rookie Blue that aired the same year. The actress has shown that she can work in a variety of acting roles. Annie's acting career started with a struggle. It was not easy for her to have a in proving her skills and gaining fame.
