Grimes is the son of a Pentecostal pastors in Dayton in Ohio. Grimes was a graduate of Dayton Christian High School in 2002. Luke Timothy Grimes was born on the 21st of January 1984 in Dayton Ohio U.S. He is the son of Randy Grimes a Pentecostal pastor and Angie Barker. Luke Grimes has three siblings: two sisters with the names Racheal and Abby and a brother named Seth. In a strict religious environment, he attended Dayton Christian High School. Luke was able to leave high school graduation in 2002, to relocate in New York City and pursue the goal of becoming an actor. In the American Academy of Dramatic Arts was where Luke studied for two years. He also had his musical skills improved by taking lessons in guitar and singing.
