LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 - is an professional American basketball player. The nickname is King James he is widely thought of as one of the most successful players of all time and has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player in history. James has won four NBA Championships as well as four NBA MVP Awards and Four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He is also the proud owner of the distinction of having two Olympic Gold medals. James scored more points during the playoffs. He has the second-most career points and has the seventh-highest number of career assists. James has been the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, a record. He was also selected for make the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. The third-highest amount of NBA Finals ever was ten which included eight consecutive games between 2011-2018. In 2021, James was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player to ever in NBA history to rack up 10,000 or more career points rebounds and assists. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he was raised. Media across the country portrayed James as a possible NBA star. He was in the process of becoming a professional and selected with the top selection by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003. In his time as the NBA rookie player in 2004, he established himself quickly as one of the most elite players in the league, earning the NBA MVP award for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. In the end, he failed to capture the championship Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent in order to be a part of with the Miami Heat this was announced during the TV program The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent choices ever made in the history of sports.
