Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She is considered to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. At the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games and she was the first gymnast to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. They were raised in the metropolitan areas of Houston. Simone was first introduced to the sport by her daycare instructor Aimee Borman at six years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles won a gold in the floor and bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the elite level of competition in 2011. Less than two years later she was a dominant competitor in the sport. Biles distinguished herself by being consistently consistent and having a lively and energetic personality and incorporating the most difficult of exercises in all of her competitions - vault uneven bars floor exercise.
